Alcoa
Support to the EHS and Sustainability areas of the company in order to make available intellectual and operational resources to follow up various initiatives referring to the process of inserting sustainability in the company; elaboration of presentations about specific themes; trainings with focus on sustainability; support to strategy elaboration; stakeholders mapping and elaboration of a sustainability plan in one of the company's websites.

Aracruz Celulose
Stakeholders' engagement project as consequence of prior stages in sustainability strategy developments and Business Case, together with SustainAbility (www.sustainability.com); evaluation of on going processes and formation of strategy involving different key groups including clients, collaborators, suppliers, investors and external stakeholders; implementation of communities and NGOs engagement pilot projects which involved training internal teams in concepts of dialog, mental models, social capital; that practice on daily external meetings brought on a broader absorption of concepts and the practical result, for these stakeholders, of a new engagement approach.

Axialpar
The "green" investment fund Axialpar, needed to give sustainability orientation to its invested companies. Together with Pact Brasil, Atitude supervised an organization evaluation for Axialpar's better understanding of its own sustainability objectives in order to prepare a program of organizational development. We did a comparative study of Axialpar's operations with other investment funds in Brazil and abroad, besides the structuring of its strategic planning; the evaluation process transformed into an essential mechanism for comparing and sharing the learned lessons with the invested companies, on the way to sustainability..


Banco Real/ABN Amro
Orientation and support to the Banco Real/ABN AMRO team in charge of Education and Sustainable Development, to develop a "Journey Map" with the marks of the latest three years of activities in search of sustainability. As part of this project, Atitude helped structuring the evaluation process, trained the internal team of employees and participated, with SustainAbility, in meetings with executives to establish the bank's organizational sense and ambition.

BASF
Business Case elaboration process with the goal of collaborating for this tool's insertion in the strategic planning of the sustainability area, and REVER (Network of Companies for Strategy and Corporate Responsibility) initiative together with AccountAbility. One year program mixing consulting work with an experience exchange forum with individual and group activities, for identifying key points in businesses strategies where sustainability and corporate responsibility have stronger impact, generating a great return of results.


Bic
In partnership with French consultancy Utopies, we evaluated the direct and indirect economic impact of the Manaus plant. The objective was the identification of key points for changing the nature of relationships with local stakeholders and understanding the impact of strategic decisions on the local economy when increasing or reducing the workforce.

Carrefour Brasil
Analysis of the 2003 Brazil Sustainable Development report through a Utopies / Atitude methodology benchmark, evaluating several national and international reports, besides relevant sustainability factors for the retail sector. The methodology also generated analysis and recommendations, including examples of good practices which inspired the 2004 report.

DT Com
In partnership with DT Com, a long distance education company, Atitude developed a series of courses on sustainability, from introductory concepts to its strategic implications. The courses went live through DT Com's transmission system, which serve over 600 companies, including national leaders of the main Brazilian industrial sectors. The DVDs are used in courses which involve CR and Sustainable Development on the main academic institutions.

Electrocell
Management of the "Electrocell" hydrogen cell project development for the IPEN - Institute of Nuclear Research - of the University of São Paulo (USP); during the project Atitude planned, implemented and monitored all the aspects of the organizational development program detailed in the proposal' support area. Market researches in financial, technological and organizational dimensions were also made for this new venture on sustainable energy.


Fundação Getúlio Vargas
Atitude, in partnership with FGV (Getulio Vargas Foundation) supports its CES - Center for Studies in Sustainability (www.ces.fgvsp.br) - to assist several entrepreneurs who have on going enterprises with sustainable businesses including technological innovations, biodiversity, recycling, sustainable agriculture, etc… This project objectives educating the entrepreneurs to elaborate better business plans in order to increase their chance of succeeding in obtaining investment in their ventures, at the same time allowing stronger visibility to the enterprises from the main VCs in Brazil. Atitude's support translates in the mentoring of several projects in the fours years of the program.


Natura
Support to the analysis and implementation of a new operational site under the sustainability optic. Process follow up, facilitation of meetings on alignment and general counseling on questions that cover the project's sustainability; elaboration of the sustainability plan; Sustainability Business Case and Green Building related works.


SustainAbility
We were hired by SustainAbility to evaluate the characteristics of the Brazilian market in the sustainability context so that the company could better understand one of its most important emerging markets, and offer services of higher aggregated value to its clients. See a briefing of the report

Suzano Papel e Celulose
Analysis of the company's sustainable actions, promoting an organization according to its relevance grade to society and to the company, as well as a correlation of the action in regards to its business strategy; implement adequate actions in face of the company's strategic vision and definition of a continuity plan. The used methodology was the Business Case, generating as a sub product a higher understanding of what are Corporate Responsibility and management operational indicators which help carrying out the sustainability practice.

Takaoka
Elaboration of its first Sustainability report (2004-2005), aligned with GRI directives through a Utopies / Atitude methodology benchmark, evaluating several national and international real estate reports, besides relevant sustainability factors for the civil construction sector in Brazil and abroad.

Votorantim Energia
One of the main energy suppliers in Brazil, Votorantim Energia wanted to find a new form of facilitating the construction of hydro electric dams. Atitude and Pact International investigated how the construction of a dam could serve the organization and the local development, bettering the investor's management practice. Atitude did a stakeholders engagement consulting process in six communities involved in the construction, in order to identify critical points and create a consensus about the better way of following up with the project. Atitude and Pact International implemented a complex engagement initiative involving over 350 community members and over 60 leaders coming from several groups of local government, NGOs and community organizations.

Do it
Do it is a consultancy based in Mozambique with whom we have established a partnership for educating local businessmen on the concepts of sustainability. We developed a few projects together in 2007, such as the training of over 20 managers and directors of several companies in conceptual alignment and on the elaboration of Business Cases, plus a workshop with the entire board of directors of an important local telecom, bringing up opportunities and risks of a sustainable management.
